Who We Are

A & L Laboratories was founded in 1971 by Don Ankerman and Richard Large in Memphis, Tennessee to serve the analytical needs of agricultural clients. Their commitment to provide quality analytical services on a regional basis led to the establishment of A & L Western Agricultural Laboratories.

A & L Western Agricultural Laboratories was established in Modesto, California in September 1979. Services and staff have continued to expand since that time. Today, A & L Western Agricultural Laboratories is a leader in agricultural testing and is an accredited environmental testing laboratory. With offices in California and Oregon, we conveniently provide analytical services to clients in the western states, Hawaii, the Pacific Rim and Asia.
